Control your TV/Home Cinema using Siri and Logitech Harmony

Why

A home cinema usually means three remotes: TV, receiver and media player. Logitech Harmony combines them into activities, and with a small bridge those activities can be triggered by Siri.

How it works

1. Create activities – for example “Watch Apple TV” and “Play PlayStation” in the Harmony app.
2. Expose them to HomeKit – each activity appears as a switch through Homebridge.
3. Add Siri shortcuts – “Hey Siri, movie time” turns on the activity and dims the lights.
